The Story of the Three Figures

What is God’s Will, and how will it be come true? God wants to make the conditions to destroy the Devil through the work of three figures. Let’s see who the three figures are and how to make the conditions to destroy the Devil.

1. Three Figures in the book of Daniel
2. One like a Son of Man and Harvesting at Last Time
3. The Background the Book of Revelation was Given
4. The Reason the Book of Revelation is Difficult
5. Two Witnesses of Jesus, Two Olive Trees
6. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
7. Who is Olive Tree?

1. Three Figures in the book of Daniel

We can know God’s Will by the Bible. Let‘s see who are the three figures in the book of Daniel chapter 7.

In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. (Dan.7:13)

Who are these “one like a son of man” and “the Ancient of Days”? Christians usually say “one like a son of man” is Jesus and “the Ancient of Days” is God. However “the Ancient of Days” is not God, but Jesus. We can know it from the phrase below.

until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom. (Dan.7:22)

“The Ancient of Days” came to pronounce judgment in favor of the saints of “the Most High”. Naturally, the Most High is God. Then who are the saints of God? They are soldiers of God, the martyrs mostly. After they will destroy the Devil, the rest of people will be released from the Hades, the Devil’s world, and at that time the Last Judgment will occur, and the saved will live in the kingdom of heaven. Then who is “the Ancient of Days” pronouncing judgment for the saints of God? The answer is in the Book of Revelation.

Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven, then he received a scroll sealed with seven seals from God. In the Book of Revelation chapter 6 comes the scene for him to open the fifth seal.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. (Rev.6:9)

Then the martyrs appeared and asked Jesus a question.

They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" (Rev.6:10)

They wanted Jesus to avenge their blood shed under a false accusation. Jesus answered them like this:

Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed. (Rev.6:11)

He could avenge their blood only after more martyrs produced. Then we can know that the one who pronounce judgment for God’s saints is Jesus. Therefore “the Ancient of Days” in the book of Daniel is Jesus. Jesus is so called because he has been being from before the Creation.

And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. (John17:5)

Jesus would give the “one like a son of man” the everlasting authority over the nations.

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. (Dan.7:14)

“Son of man” indicates Jesus. “One like a son of man” means someone like Jesus, whose authority is alike that of Jesus.

2. One like a Son of Man and Harvesting at Last Time

It was explained who are the three figures in the book of Daniel. “The Most High” was interpreted as God and “the Ancient of Days”, Jesus. Now it will be explained who is the “one like a son of man”. In the book of Daniel, Jesus gave him the everlasting authority over the nations. In the Book of Revelation, it is prophesied that someone will receive the same authority.

To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations--(Rev.2:26)

Therefore we can know the “one like a son of man” in the book of Daniel is the one “who overcomes” in the Book of Revelation. Jesus looks for the one who overcomes among Christians. Once someone who overcomes would appear, Jesus would give him some mission. If he would complete the mission, Jesus would give him the authority over the nations. What on earth is the mission for such a great authority? It comes in the Book of Revelation chapter 14.

I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one "like a son of man" with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. (Rev.14:14)

As in the book of Daniel, the one “like a son of man” is on a cloud. He has s sickle in his hand, which shows he is the one who harvests. One angel comes out of a temple and commands him to harvest.

Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, "Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe." So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested. (Rev.14:15-16)

If he would complete to harvest, he would get the authority over the nations from Jesus.
How does Jesus get to be able to give the authority? That’s because he also received the same authority from God.

To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations--'He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery'--just as I have received authority from my Father. (Rev.2:26-27)

Jesus received the authority over the nations, and he would give the same authority to him who overcomes if he would complete his mission. Anyway in Psalms is the promise of the authority God gave to Jesus.

I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery." (Ps.2:7-9)

We can know that this is same to the word Jesus said in the Book of Revelation chapter 2. Therefore we can know Jesus wrote it himself. However this psalm had been written 1,000 years before Jesus came to this world. That means Jesus was with God in God’s world in the Old Testament era. God gave Jesus the authority over the nations, and Jesus also promised the same authority to him who overcomes.

3. The Background the Book of Revelation was Given

It was explained that the “one like a son of man” in the book of Daniel is the one who overcomes in the Book of Revelation. Now it will be explained why Jesus let the book of Revelation written. The reason Jesus is looking for him who overcomes is to give him the mission to harvest. However the time Jesus got to know he needed the one to harvest at the last time was after he had received God’s book.

When Jesus was in this world, he said he would come back during his disciples were living.

I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. (Matt.16:28)

But he had not come during two thousand years. Why did his word not come true? The reason is that he said so in the situation he did not know God’s plan properly. Jesus thought all the work would be finished only if he would be crucified. However he found it wasn’t after he went to God and received his book. Thus he notified it to people, which is the Book of Revelation of John.

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, (Rev.1:1)

In this word, “which God gave him” means the book which Jesus received from God. John the apostle explained at the beginning of the Book of Revelation that it was what Jesus revealed. God’s book was sealed with seven seals for no one to look inside it.

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. (Rev.5:1)

There was no one who could look into it, so John the apostle wept and wept. Then one of the elders told him Jesus could open the book.

Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals." (Rev.5:5)

Jesus got to be able to open the book because he had triumphed, which means he had completed his mission to be crucified.

Jesus looked inside it and finally got to know God’s Will wholly. Thus when the martyrs asked him when he would avenge their blood, he said he needed more martyrs.

Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed. (Rev.6:11)

The number is 144,000. They are not people of the kingdom of heaven, but the soldiers of heaven and will be kings in the kingdom of heaven in future. The scene after the number will be filled up is in the Book of Revelation chapter 14.

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. (Rev.14:1)

Those who have the Lamb’s name on their foreheads are the saints of the New Testament time, and his Father’s name, the Old Testament time. God had been producing them from before six thousand years. Jesus received God’s book two thousand years ago, and afterwards he has been producing them. Then at the last time, it is predetermined that the “one like a son of man” appears and fills the number, that is the mission to harvest.

Even Jesus did not know it when he was in this world. Thus he wanted to notify it, so he let John the apostle write the Book of Revelation, and it was in AD 95. Those who made the foundation of Christianity were Jesus’ twelve apostles and Paul the apostle. However, except John the apostle, they were all passed away before the Book of Revelation was written. Peter the apostle and Paul the apostle were martyred in 60s. Thus Christians don’t know the fact that harvest should be done by someone is predetermined.

4. The Reason the Book of Revelation is Difficult

It was explained the background the Book of Revelation was written. The Book of Revelation is hard to understand. That’s because it contains the secret plan to capture the Devil and it should not be known to him. However the one who has to do the work must know the secret. Thus Jesus would notify him the secret and give him the mission to do it. If he would complete his mission, Jesus would give him the authority over the nations. The prophecy to give him a mission is in the Book of Revelation chapter 2.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it. (Rev.2:17)

He who overcomes would receive two things. The first is the hidden manna, and it is not the subject dealing now. The second is the white stone, and a new name is on it, which is known only to him who overcomes. The stone symbolizes Jesus.

Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'? (Matt.21:42)

Jesus was the stone rejected, but he became the capstone, which is that of the Holy City, the new Jerusalem. Thus on the twelve foundations of the city are the names of the twelve apostles of Jesus.

The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Rev.21:14)

Then the stone means Jesus, and on it is written the new name. The name means the Word of God.

His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. (Rev.19:12-13)

This is the scene Jesus appears to wage the war against the beast. Then he has a name only he knows, and the name is the Word of God. This is the word which was written on the book he received from God. Jesus got to know it newly, so it is called a new name.
Jesus promised to notify it to him who overcomes. That’s because he wanted to give him the mission to do the work. The mission is to harvest to complete the army of heaven at last time. If he who overcomes would complete his mission, he would get to receive the authority over the nations.

5. Two Witnesses of Jesus, Two Olive Trees

It was explained that Jesus let him who overcomes know the new name on the white stone and harvest. Now let’s talk about the formal name of him who overcomes.

Those God predetermined to have the mission to harvest are two olive trees. Jesus got to know of the olive trees after he looked into God’s book. So he wanted to give the mission of olive tree to the one who overcomes among believers. The Book of Revelation is to show it. The first olive tree receives the hidden manna and delivers it to believers, and the second olive tree teaches them with the word written on the white stone and makes them qualified to be soldier of heaven.

To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it. (Rev.2:17)

Already God showed his plan of the olive trees in the Old Testament time. Zechariah the prophet saw two olive trees and a golden lampstand in his vision 520 years before Jesus was born. Then he asked the angel what these two olive trees meant. The answer is this:

So he said, "These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth." (Zech.4:14)

“To be anointed” means they receive the Holy Spirit. “To serve the Lord of all the earth” shows they are servants who implement God’s Will in this world. Their mission is to complete the temple.

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. (Zech.4:9)

Zerubbabel, one of Jesus’ ancestors, was the governor of Judah appointed by Persia, and built God’s temple instead of Solomon’s Temple torn down. That is the Zerubbabel’s Temple. God was showing the spiritual Providence with the fleshly work of Zerubbabel. The temple indicates God’s army, the 144,000 saints. Paul the apostle too mentioned temple symbolizes saints.

Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? (1Cor.3:16)

In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. (Eph.2:21-22)

God’s aim is to produce the 144,000 soldiers of heaven to fight against the army of the Devil, and to destroy him. The work to complete the army, that is the work of harvesting at last time, is that for the olive trees to do. Zerubbabel is the symbolic figure of the olive trees.

Jesus also got to know of it only after he had received God’s book. Therefore he promised to set the two olive trees as his two witnesses in the Book of Revelation.

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. (Rev.11:3-4)

Jesus said his two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands. Lampstand means church, that is saints.

The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches. (Rev.1:20)

We can know that lampstand symbolizes church from this word. Because olive trees are two, the followers of them also two churches, that is two lampstands. They also participate in witnessing Jesus after they learn from two olive trees. As a result, Jesus’ witnesses are the two olive trees.

The work of olive trees was what God determined. Jesus also got to know of it only after he looked into God’s book, and revealed it to John the apostle to notify it to believers. Therefore God’s work is not to be finished by Jesus only. The last comes only after the olive trees finish harvesting. After harvest at last time, Jesus would come to take the elect.

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matt.24:31)

Jesus knew he had to come again to take the elect. But he did not know when it would be at that time. Nevertheless he said he would come back at that time. That’s because he thought so at that time.

6. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

It was explained God predetermined the work of olive trees, and Jesus promised to let them be his witnesses. Now it will be explained that how God, Jesus, and olive trees are symbolized in God’s work.

One of God’s work to show his Will is the history of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Abraham is the symbol of God, and Isaac, Jesus, and Jacob, olive trees. Olive trees are two, but the work they have to do was shown that of one person, Jacob.

God said Abraham would be “a blessing”.

I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (Gen.12:2)

In fact, “a blessing” is God. God chose Abraham as the one to do his role symbolically on the earth. His original name was Abram. God changed his name to Abraham.

No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. (Gen.17:5)

“Abram” means noble father, and “Abraham”, a father of many nations. In fact, the nations of Abraham’s descendants are only Israel and Edom. So Abraham is not the father of many nations. It shows God’s status. God created Adam, so he is the father of all humanity. And after the last judgment, God also will reign over all humanity.

Next, Isaac is the figure who symbolizes Jesus. God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac.

Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about." (Gen.22:2)

The mount in the region of Moriah is the place Jesus was sacrificed, on which Jerusalem is. However in fact an angel stopped Abraham when he was about to kill Isaac. It shows God did not intend Isaac to be sacrificed actually. God shows the predetermination of the sacrifice of his son, Jesus, with this event.

Next, Jacob is the symbol of the olive trees. Jacob struggled with an angel and overcame, so he got the name of “Israel”.

Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome." (Gen.32:28)

This shows Jacob is the symbol of him who overcomes. His work was to give birth to twelve sons. The descendants of them is the twelve tribes of Israel. The army of heaven is twelve tribes of Israel spiritually, and each tribe is composed of 12,000 so all of them are 144,000. As we see from this, twelve tribes of Israel is the symbol of the 144,000. Jacob’s giving birth to twelve sons symbolizes for the olive trees to complete the army of heaven.

As a result, the work determined by God will be achieved by God, Jesus, and olive trees.

7. Who is Olive Tree?

It was explained that the one who completes God’s work is olive tree. Then who is olive tree?

Olive trees are two. The first is Elder Park Tae-seon born in 1917. It was in 1951 that Jesus chose him. He founded Jeondokwan in 1955 and started to do God’s work. However he distorted God’s Will only in three years and lost favor in God’s eyes. Afterwards he disobeyed God to turn over the work to the second olive tree, and persisted he would do the work single-handed, so he was abandoned. And finally he turned against God to change the name of the church to Chunbukyo in 1980. (Chunbukyo is the church which claims Park Tae-seon is God.) It is so shocking in respect that olive tree is so important in God’s work. However such a thing was not the first in God’s work. Adam did not obey God’s word and abandoned, and King Saul was also abandoned because he did not follow God’s Will. Elder Park passed away in 1990.

The second olive tree is Lee Young-soo, the leader of Holy Eden Church, born in 1942. When Jesus chose the first olive tree in 1951, he also anointed Lee Young-soo together. Jesus raised him through various experiences from a young age, and took and introduced him before God in 1970. He had learned from God and Jesus in three years, and founded Holy Eden Church in 1973 following God’s command.

We can know Lee Young-soo is olive tree from the fact he has been revealing the secrets in the Bible as it was explained until now. However it could be proved with the word of the Bible directly. Olive tree is to prophesy 1,260 days.

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." (in Greek Bible, there is no “for” of “for 1,260 days”.) These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. (Rev.11:3-4)

In general, 1,260 days is known as the period during which olive trees prophesy. However it is “objective” in the original language. Olive trees prophesy not during 1,260 days, but what 1,260 days is. It is a top secret hidden from the Devil, so its meaning had been hidden until now. Now the person directly concerned to do the work comes out so its meaning is revealed. 1,260 days is an event which will be one thousand years later after they have prophesied.

Once they finish harvesting, Jesus will come and take the elect. And an angel will fight against the dragon and throw him into the Abyss for one thousand years.

He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. (Rev.20:3)

The dragon will come out from the Abyss, and give authority of 42 months to a beast.

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. (in Greek Bible, there is no “for” of “for forty-two months”.) (Rev.13:5)

Then the beast will fight against the olive trees.

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. (Rev.11:7)

Witnessing of the olive trees is first, and coming up from the Abyss of the beast is later, who will have the authority of 42 months, so the 42 months can’t be the period for the olive trees to prophesy. Then what is the 1,260 days? 1,260 days is same to 42 months, and three and a half years, and even three and a half days in the Bible. It indicates the number 3.5. 3.5 is between 3 and 4.

3 is the number of heaven, so Jesus started his work in 30, and was crucified after three years, and was in grave three days. As a result, the fountain to cleanse us from our sin was created. It’s the God’s Will which was achieved in heaven.

4 is the number of earth, and many servants of God had worked in connection with 4. Moses had been three times in the Mount of Sinai for 40 days, and had worked for 40 years. And people of Israel were predetermined to live in Egypt for 4 generation, 400 years. They were the army of God, and conducted the war against the Canaanites. They are the symbol of 144,000 who will fight against devils in future. Like these, 4 indicates God’s Will to produce the army of heaven.

3.5 is between 3 and 4, which indicates the work of the Devil which interrupts the realizing of God’s Will to join heaven and earth. It means the beast received authority from the dragon coming out from the Abyss after one thousand years will fight against the army of heaven.

The one who explains 1,260 days like this is only Lee Young-soo. If you acknowledge this explanation meaningful, you can accept him as olive tree.
