The Kingdom of Heaven and Hell

Generally Christians think those saved go to the kingdom of heaven after life, and sinners, hell. But where the dead go is not the kingdom of heaven or hell but Hades. The kingdom of heaven and hell will be created after judgment. Let see what Hades, the kingdom of heaven, and hell are.

 

1. Hades

 

People mostly confuse hell with Hades. However Hades will be thrown into the lake of fire which is known as hell, so we can know Hades is not hell.

 

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. (Rev.20:14)

 

The Greek “Hades” is a translation of the Hebrew “Sheol” and the meaning of it is grave. After death, flesh goes to grave and spirit is dragged into the spiritual world, Hades. The Bible says that as Hades follows behind Death.

 

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. (Rev.6:8)

 

Therefore the dead will come out from Hades after the Devil will be destroyed and be judged.

 

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. (Rev.20:13)

 

Hades is the Devil’s world. Why are the dead dragged to Hades? Because the Devil rules people. It was revealed by a devil who tested Jesus.

 

The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours." (Luke4:5-7)

 

The devil said he received the authority to rule all the world, and if Jesus worship him, he will give it to him. The one who gives it to the devil is Satan. God created man, then how Satan got the authority? That’s because Adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The aim God had created man was that he needed army to fight against the Devil. The Devil knew it well, so he made Adam commit sin to take him. After all Adam ate it and God had to expel him. Then the Devil took him and got to rule him.

 

Paul said paradise, that is, the Garden of Eden, is in the third heaven.

 

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know--God knows. And I know that this man--whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows--was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell. (2Cor.12:2-4)

 

The first heaven is the universe we see, the second heaven is Hades, the Devil’s world, which is out of the universe, and the third heaven is God’s world, which is beyond Hades.

 

2. The Most Holy Place in heaven

 

Then is there no one who has gone to God’s world until now? Yes. Those who are qualified to be solder of heaven go to the Mose Holy Place in God’s world. The symbol of it is the Most Holy Place of Moses’ tabernacle in which the high priest met God in the Old Testament time. The hope of believers is to go into it behind the curtain which separates the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place.

 

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (Heb.6:19-20)

 

Most of those who have entered it are martyrs.

 

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. (Rev.6:9)

 

They could get out of the authority of Hades and go there because of Jesus’ blood.

 

And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." (Rev.5:9-10)

 

They are soldiers of heaven, and the number is 144,000.

 

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. (Rev.14:1)

 

The number is not completed yet. God has been working 6,000 years to fill the number. After they will destroy the Devil, all souls dragged into Hades will be able to come out of it. After that, there will be judgment, and from the judgment who is going into the kingdom of heaven or hell will be determined. At that time, the soldiers of heaven will be judge, and after the judgment they will rule the people of the kingdom of heaven eternally as kings.

 

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. (Rev.20:4)

 

There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. (Rev.22:5)

 

3. The Kingdom of Heaven

 

The kingdom of heaven will be created in God’s world after the Last Judgment. The universe we see now will get to be disappeared.

 

All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree. (Is.34:4)

 

The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. (Rev.6:14)

 

Then God will create a new world.

 

Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. (Is.65:17)

 

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. (Rev.21:1)

 

The new heaven is the place God will dwell, and the new earth, people. The word “earth” is used but that does not mean flesh world. As we have flesh body, we have spiritual body.

 

 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. (1Cor.15:4)

 

The earth in which flesh body lives now is the universe, and the earth in which the spiritual body will live is the kingdom of heaven which will be created later. The kingdom of heaven consists of 144,000 kingdoms. That’s because the 144,000 soldiers of heaven will be kings forever.

 

4. Hell

 

Commonly Christians think hell is ruled by the Devil. However that’s not true. Hell is the place God will punish the Devil

 

“Hell” in english Bible is translation of the Greek “gehenna” which is the transliteration of the Hebrew “Gehinnom”, meant “the Valley of Hinnom”, a simple version of the Valley of the son of Hinnom. At the place, Israelites burnt their children and offered them to other god Molech. Thus God cursed it.

 

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter. (Jer.19:6) [KJV]

 

Jesus also said it as the place of punishment with fire.

 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. (Mark9:4)

 

The first ones who will be thrown into the lake of fire, hell, are the beast, the subordinate of the Devil, and the false prophet. After that the Devil will be thrown into it also.

But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Rev.19:20)

 

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Rev.20:10)

 

After the Devil will be destroyed, all born from the creation of the world will come out from Hades and be judged. At that time, anyone whose name is not written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire.

 

If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (Rev.20:15)

 

Those who will be thrown into the lake of fire are as in the following.

 

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Rev.21:8)
